Jackson’s Midtown neighborhood is filled with aspiring artists and craftsmen who have formed a community of art enthusiasts known as the Millsaps Avenue Arts District. And it all began with Andrew Young in 1976 when he moved his art glass company, Pearl River Glass Studio Inc., from a rented garage into an 8,000-square-foot building on Millsaps Avenue.
